Dental Implants in Gota
A fixed replacement for a missing tooth, rooted in the jaw like a natural one.

What is a dental implant?
A titanium root that holds a new tooth.
A small titanium post is placed in the jawbone. Once it bonds with the bone, it supports a crown, a bridge or a denture that stays fixed in place.

Is it right for you?
Most adults with a missing tooth.
Your suitability is checked at the consultation.
One or more missing teeth
From a single gap to a full arch.
Enough jawbone
The bone has to be thick enough to hold the implant.
Healthy gums
Any gum disease is treated first.
Good general health
Uncontrolled diabetes and smoking can slow healing.

Good to know
Your questions, answered.
Does getting an implant hurt?
The area is numbed with local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Some soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and settles with simple painkillers.
How long do implants last?
With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, implants can last many years. The crown on top may need replacing in time through normal wear.
Implant or bridge?
An implant stands on its own, so the teeth beside the gap are left untouched. A bridge is quicker but relies on those teeth for support. Dr. Patel explains which suits your case.
